-8- Sixteen Elective Program

“Life is filled with changes. In this world, we should not be concerned about what we lose or gain. Actually, if we have peace of mind, if we can work, and if we can enjoy what we have, then we are fortunate”
--- Master Cheng Yen---

Due to Master Cheng Yen, she considered that the students should be interested in other activities except their obligatory lessons. So many elective classes are established and all students must finish at least 16 credits but not more than 25 credits before graduate.

There are several elective classes such as language, music, sport, art, computer, movie, poem, book, Religion, psychology, anatomy, emotional control, flower arrangement, tea ceremony, etc.

I attended a class of tea ceremony that is a beautiful Chinese culture. I haven’t known before that we must have many procedures before having a nice tea… Wow!! It is amazing…
